# The Uptime.com alternative with flat plans and 25 check types

Uptime.com aims further up the market than most of this list: SLA reporting, SSO and audit logs, a network of 100+ probe servers, transaction checks, real-user monitoring and malware scanning — the compliance paperwork an enterprise buyer asks for. Website monitoring starts at $9 a month with unlimited users, and the enterprise features sit on the higher tiers. If you want the simpler shape — flat plans by monitor count, 25 check types, teammates included — that is where we differ.

## Where Uptime.com is better than us

- A larger probe network than ours.
- Transaction and scripted browser checks.
- Enterprise SLA reporting and compliance documentation.

## Choose Uptime.com if

- You need contractual SLA reporting for customers or regulators.
- You need scripted multi-step transaction checks.
- Your purchase goes through procurement and vendor review anyway.

## Choose WatchFor if

- You want a flat plan by monitor count you can start on in minutes, rather than a quantity calculator.
- You want 25 check types including CDN, MCP, MTR, NTP and mail policy.
- You want monitoring an agent can configure over MCP or the REST API.
- You want SLA and uptime reports without an enterprise contract.

## Moving over

Uptime, DNS, SSL and API checks map onto our equivalents. Transaction checks do not and have no substitute here.

## Questions people ask

How does Uptime.com's pricing compare? Their website monitoring starts at $9 a month ($108 a year) with unlimited users, and the enterprise features — SSO, SLA reporting, audit logs — sit on higher tiers. Our paid plans start at €7 a month for 50 monitors with teammates included on every plan. Compare on what you need beyond basic uptime: they go further on compliance, transactions and RUM; we go wider on check types.

Do you offer SLA reports? Yes — scheduled uptime and SLA reports, calculated from confirmed incidents rather than from raw failed checks, on paid plans. Theirs go further for enterprise contractual reporting.

What about malware and transaction checks? We have neither. Uptime.com does, and for those specific needs they are the better fit.

## About these figures

Everything stated here about Uptime.com was read from [their published pricing](https://uptime.com/pricing) on 11 September 2026 . Pricing, limits and features in this market change often and without notice, so treat this as a starting point and confirm the current terms with both vendors before you buy. We are not affiliated with Uptime.com , and product names belong to their owners.

Agent-readiness scores are published by [ora.ai](https://ora.ai) and [is-agentic.com](https://is-agentic.com) for the domain named under each score, as of the date shown. They grade a domain, not a product: a vendor whose developer surface lives on a subdomain can score lower than its product deserves. We show each service's own cached result and never request a scan of another company's site, so a domain neither service has scanned reads as not scanned. Scoring rules change over time; compare the dates as well as the numbers.
