# The Hyperping alternative with more check types per euro

Hyperping is a well-made product with a generous free tier — twenty monitors at five-minute intervals — and status pages people like. Where the two of us diverge is the paid ladder: their Essentials plan is $29 a month ($24 billed yearly) for fifty monitors with two seats, and each extra teammate is billed on top. We are €7 a month for fifty monitors with teammates included, and we check twenty-five kinds of thing rather than the uptime essentials plus a handful of browser checks.

## Where Hyperping is better than us

- Browser checks — three on Essentials, ten on Pro — and server monitoring agents, neither of which we offer.
- A more generous free tier than ours: 20 monitors against 15.
- Phone call alerts on their Pro plan.
- A status page product with a strong reputation for design.

## Choose Hyperping if

- Twenty free monitors is exactly the size of your problem.
- Voice call alerting matters to your escalation policy.
- You want their status page specifically.

## Choose WatchFor if

- You are past the free tier and the price per monitor matters.
- You are adding teammates and would rather not pay per seat.
- You need CDN, MCP, MTR, NTP, blacklist or email-policy checks.
- You want an MCP server and SDKs for driving monitoring from code or an agent.

## Moving over

Monitors map directly — via the CSV import under Monitors → Import or the REST API — and status pages are recreated in a few minutes. On-call schedules have to be recreated by hand.

## Questions people ask

Which free plan is better? Theirs, on size — twenty monitors to our fifteen. Ours checks more often (three minutes against five) and includes three full status pages and teammates. Pick on which constraint binds first for you.

Do you support voice call alerts? No. Email, Slack, Telegram, Discord, PagerDuty, ntfy, webhooks and ten others, but no phone calls. Hyperping has them on Pro.

What do we check that they do not? CDN cache behaviour, MCP servers, MTR network paths, NTP drift, DNS blacklists, SPF/DKIM/DMARC policy, data breach exposure, sitemap and favicon integrity, WebSocket and more — 25 types in total.

## Try it on the thing you are actually worried about

15 monitors free, commercial use allowed, no card. If it does not beat what you have, keep what you have.

## About these figures

Everything stated here about Hyperping was read from [their published pricing](https://hyperping.com/pricing) on 11 September 2026 . Pricing, limits and features in this market change often and without notice, so treat this as a starting point and confirm the current terms with both vendors before you buy. We are not affiliated with Hyperping , and product names belong to their owners.

Agent-readiness scores are published by [ora.ai](https://ora.ai) and [is-agentic.com](https://is-agentic.com) for the domain named under each score, as of the date shown. They grade a domain, not a product: a vendor whose developer surface lives on a subdomain can score lower than its product deserves. We show each service's own cached result and never request a scan of another company's site, so a domain neither service has scanned reads as not scanned. Scoring rules change over time; compare the dates as well as the numbers.

If something here is wrong or out of date — including if you work at Hyperping — email [hello@watchfor.io](mailto:hello@watchfor.io) and we will correct the page and update the date on it.
