# Keyboard shortcuts
Every keyboard shortcut in the WatchFor dashboard — go-to chords, create chords, Inbox keys, search and the ? cheat sheet.
Press ? anywhere in the dashboard to see this list in place.
Shortcuts are ignored while you type in a field or have a dialog open.
**Chords** are two keys pressed one after the other, within about a second.
## Create

## Inbox
| Keys | Does |

| j / k | Next / previous notification |
| ↵ | Open what the notification is about |
| u | Toggle read / unread |
| e | Dismiss |
| Esc | Close the open notification |
## Everywhere

| ⌘ K or / | Search or jump to… (monitors, pages, tools) |
| ? | Show the shortcut cheat sheet |
| Esc | Close dialogs |
The command palette (⌘ K) also reaches pages that are one
level down in the sidebar — Post-mortems, Contacts, History, API keys,
Notification preferences, Activity log — by name.
