# The Gzip Compression Test now tests gzip

The Gzip Compression Test only asked for Brotli, so a site that serves gzip but not Brotli came back as uncompressed. It now sends a second request offering only gzip and shows the answer as the headline, with the Brotli result next to it. The Brotli Checker shows the gzip result as an extra row.
