# The dashboard on your phone, rebuilt for one-handed use

On a phone the dashboard could hide its bottom bar behind the browser's toolbar, open a menu when you only meant to scroll, and lose your place when you pressed Back. Every screen has now been reworked for phones: the bottom bar stays put, menus open on a tap, Back closes the open menu or dialog in Chrome, the keyboard no longer covers Save, and every control is big enough for a thumb, in both themes.

The dashboard on a phone: what needs a person first, one-tap actions, and a bottom bar that stays put.

Incidents read as cards on a phone, with every incident reachable through search and paging.

## Moving around

- The bottom bar always stays visible : Dashboard, Monitors, Incidents, Inbox and More, with live counts.

- Back closes what's open first. In Chrome and Edge on Android, Back closes the open menu, dialog or sheet and keeps you on the page. With unsaved changes it asks before leaving.

- Menus open on a tap, never on a scroll that starts on a ⋯ button.

- Bigger targets : buttons, switches, sliders, checkboxes and info icons all have a thumb-sized touch area, and tapping an ⓘ shows its explanation.

## Forms

- Dialogs fill the screen, and Save stays visible above the keyboard .

- Unsaved changes take the place of the action bar, so Discard and Save are always one tap away.

- Monitor names can now be up to 50 characters ; a longer pasted name is shortened, and the field tells you so.

## Every screen, reworked

- Monitors : a full-width search, sort and filters, exact number fields next to sliders, and recent checks first.

- Incidents : the header says what broke, who acknowledged it, and whether alerts are muted.

- Post-mortems save as you type, with section prompts that disappear when you start writing.

- Reports , status pages , on-call , maintenance , channels and settings all fit a phone without sideways scrolling.
