# Calmer lists and clearer incident colours across the dashboard

Lists behaved slightly differently from page to page: a row lit up only partly, a near miss next to a checkbox opened the monitor and dropped your selection, and an acknowledged incident looked as urgent as a new one. Now every list works the same, a click beside the checkbox or the ⋯ button stays put, acknowledged incidents are blue, resolved hours keep their colour but fade, and while a failure is being confirmed the monitor page shows the faster checking pace.

Every row menu has icons, and resolved hours fade instead of turning another colour.

The incidents card counts open incidents and keeps each hour's severity.

Firing now rows open the incident from anywhere on the row.

## Lists

- The whole row lights up when you point at it, menu column included, in every list: monitors, hosts, incidents, post-mortems, status pages, channels, maintenance and on-call.

- Safe clicks. A click next to a checkbox toggles it and a click next to the ⋯ button opens its menu; neither opens the item or throws away your selection.

- Every row menu has icons , menu items never wrap onto a second line, and the monitors menu keeps its width while the n left this hour hint loads.

- The monitors table spreads its columns evenly instead of giving all the spare room to the name, and the uptime bars are wider.

## Incident colours

Colour Means

Red Firing, nobody has taken it yet

Blue Acknowledged: someone is on it

Faded red or amber Resolved; the hour still shows what happened

Green A clean hour

The sidebar badge, the monitor's Incidents tab and its Open count turn blue once every open incident is acknowledged. The monitor stays Down until the incident resolves, so uptime is unchanged.

On the dashboard, Firing now rows open the incident from anywhere on the row; Acknowledge and Open stay where they are.

## While a failure is being confirmed

Checks run faster while WatchFor confirms a failure or counts a recovery. The monitor page now says so, for example Every 5m · 30s while confirming , and Next check in counts down from the faster interval. The Confirming and Recovering markers are the same size as the status beside them.
