# Clear history windows on every plan, with uptime and incident history kept forever

You couldn't see anywhere how long WatchFor keeps your monitoring data. Now every plan says it plainly: uptime, SLA and incident history are kept on every plan with no time limit, and individual check results, charts and reports, and screenshots and traces each have a window that grows with the plan. The pricing page shows each plan's history, the docs list every window, range pickers lock ranges past your plan instead of hiding them, and the API says when it cut a window.

## What each plan keeps

- Uptime, SLA and incident history: unlimited on every plan, Free included. The Uptime SLA tab covers any date range.

- Check history (every check result: timings, status codes, response bodies, errors): 30 days on Free and Starter, 90 days on Pro, 180 days on Business.

- Charts and reports history (response time, check success, latency, p95): 3 months on Free, 2 years on Starter, 3 years on Pro, 5 years on Business.

- Screenshots, traces and Lighthouse reports: 7, 30, 60 and 90 days.

The [pricing page](/pricing) shows each plan's history, and [Data retention](/docs/organization/data-retention) lists every window.

## What you'll see

- The monitor page's range picker keeps every option. Ranges past your plan are locked with an upgrade link, and the picker says how far back your plan goes.

- Lists that end at your plan's window, such as the checks list, the traceroute calendar, MCP inventory changes, browser-check runs and the activity log, say where history ends.

- An incident older than your check history keeps its timeline, root cause and notes; only the raw probe results behind it are hidden.

- Reports cover any period for uptime and incidents. Check-based figures start where your chart history starts, and the report says so.

## Faster long ranges, real deletion

- Charts and reports over months or years now load from hourly and daily summaries, with the same averages, minimums, maximums and success rates the individual checks give.

- Data is deleted when its window ends, and each screenshot, trace and report expires on its plan's schedule.

## In the API

Requests that reach past your plan's history are cut, not refused, so an integration never breaks after a plan change. Responses carry X-History-Limit-Days , X-History-Earliest and X-History-Clamped ; a single check older than your check history returns 404 . Details: [Data retention](/docs/organization/data-retention).

## Fixed

- API monitor cards (extracted values and assertion pass rates) now load for 31-day months and quarters, and follow calendar ranges like Last month exactly.
