# Page integrity: accepting a change closes the incident in a minute

After you accepted a change on a page integrity monitor, the incident stayed open until the next scheduled check, up to the monitor's full interval. Now accepting starts a check of the pages straight away, and the incident closes as soon as that check matches the new baseline, usually within a minute or two. It works the same from the dashboard, the API and the deploy pipeline script in the docs.
