# Server alerts now reach your contact group from the start

Alerts for a new server, such as Agent Silent or Disk Almost Full, could fire without reaching anyone until one of its alert rules was edited. New servers now notify your default contact group straight away, and servers added earlier get their route the next time anyone in the organization opens Hosts.
