# Monitors show their site's icon

In a long monitor list every website looked the same — a name and a globe — so finding the right one meant reading. Website monitors now show the site's own icon in the monitor list, the cards, the monitor page and the ⌘K search. It appears a few seconds after you add a monitor, stays in sync when the site changes its icon, and the usual icon stays for sites that have none.

Each website monitor carries its site's icon.

## The problem

With twenty website monitors, every row looked the same: a name and a grey globe. Finding "Docs" versus "Shop" meant reading each line.

## What changed

Website monitors now show the site's own icon:

- in the monitor list, in both card and row view;

- on the monitor cards and at the top of the monitor page;

- in ⌘K search results.

## How it behaves

- Right away. The icon appears a few seconds after you create a monitor or change its URL. You don't wait for a daily job.

- Kept current. When a site changes its icon, the monitor picks up the new one by itself.

- No icon, no problem. Sites without one keep the usual globe.

## Example

You add https://shop.example.com . A few seconds later the shop's logo sits next to the monitor name. In a list of thirty monitors you now find it by its shape, without reading every name.
