# Grouped alerts show each monitor's target and the actual reason

When several incidents fired at once, the grouped notification listed only monitor names and a generic label such as “Connectivity Failure” three times over, so you still had to open each incident to learn what was hit and why. Each row now shows the monitor's target (URL or host) under its name and the concrete detail next to the diagnosis: the detected value, the root-cause detail or, for recoveries, how long the incident lasted. This covers the email digest and the Slack, Discord, Teams, Telegram, Google Chat, Mattermost and Rocket.Chat summaries; the email digest is also left-aligned now.

## Before and after

A deploy breaks three things at once. Before, the grouped Slack message listed:

- Checkout · Connectivity Failure

- Search · Connectivity Failure

- Login · Connectivity Failure

You still had to open each incident to learn which URL was hit and what actually happened. Now every row carries the target under the monitor's name and the concrete detail next to the diagnosis:

- Checkout , [https://shop.example.com/checkout](https://shop.example.com/checkout): Unexpected HTTP Status · HTTP Status Code = 502

- Search , [https://shop.example.com/search](https://shop.example.com/search): Connectivity Failure · connection refused

- Login , [https://shop.example.com/login](https://shop.example.com/login): Connectivity Failure · connection timed out after 10s

Recoveries say how long each incident lasted ( recovered after 9m ), and an incident someone closed by hand says who closed it and why.

## Where

The email digest and the summaries in Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Google Chat, Mattermost and Rocket.Chat. Long details are shortened so a row stays readable at a glance.

How grouping works, and which channels stay one message per incident, is in [Grouping during a storm](/docs/notifications#grouping-during-a-storm).
