# API catalog now lists every config key the dashboard uses

Several checks could only be set up from the dashboard: DNS expected records, the CDN and CMS provider pins, TCP/UDP and WebSocket response matching, SMTP open-relay and PTR checks, the MCP protocol-version pin, HTTP/3 transport, and the monitor-level alerting knobs (default contact groups, confirmation threshold, duration window, repeat reminders). The keys always worked through the API; nothing told you they existed. The type catalog, GET /v1/meta/monitor-types, the MCP and A2A lookups and the docs now list all of them, and a test keeps the catalog complete.
