# TLS grade: on by default, one scan a day per monitor, Check now rescans

Waiting a day for a TLS grade after switching it on felt broken. On plans with the daily TLS grade, new SSL monitors start with Track TLS grade on and get their first grade with the first check; existing SSL monitors on those plans were switched on too (turn it off per monitor if you only want certificate checks). The scan runs once a day per monitor however many locations check it, so a six-location monitor no longer scans your server six times and locations cannot disagree. Check now always rescans; the TLS Grade card shows when the grade was taken and says plainly when grading is off.
