# Heartbeat: a non-zero exit code now counts as a failed run

Our docs said a non-zero exit code counts as a failed run, but reporting one (for example /p/<token>/137) did not fire the default "Run Failed" rule. That was our bug, and it is fixed: a non-zero exit code now marks the run as failed, and /fail behaves as before. The ping URL also works the moment a monitor is created.
