# Alerting, contacts and status pages are now owner/admin only

Any member of an organization could create, edit or delete alert rules, notification channels, contacts, contact groups and status pages, even though monitors were already owner/admin only. That gap is closed: those actions now require the owner or admin role, the same as monitors. Members keep read access and can still acknowledge incidents and write internal notes.
