# DNS monitors gain SOA, SRV, PTR and CAA; API spec and SDKs 0.3.1

The records behind zone health, service discovery, reverse lookups and certificate issuance were out of reach for a DNS monitor. DNS monitors can now check SOA, SRV, PTR and CAA records with expected-value matching. The OpenAPI specification was also corrected to match the API exactly (announcements, status page creation with components, maintenance window fields, the checks success filter, incident rule and duration fields, report fields), and the TypeScript, Python and Ruby SDKs are updated to 0.3.1.
