# API: DELETE endpoints now return a deletion confirmation

An empty 204 after a DELETE leaves generated clients and agents with nothing to check. DELETE requests on the REST API now respond with 200 and a small confirmation body, { "object": "deleted", "id", "deleted": true }, so you get a typed, verifiable result. With that, every one of the API's 57 operations has a fully typed response schema in the OpenAPI spec.
