# Audit trail and alert delivery history in the API

"Did the Slack alert actually go out?" and "who edited this monitor before it broke?" were questions you could only answer in the dashboard. Two new read endpoints change that: GET /v1/activity exposes your organization's audit log (who changed what, with the same full-text search as the dashboard, reaching into the change details), and GET /v1/notifications shows every alert delivery attempt per channel with sent/failed status. Both are MCP tools too, so an AI assistant can answer those questions for you.
