# Jump anywhere with the new command palette

Hunting through menus for the one monitor you need right now gets old fast. Press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows) or click the search bar at the top of the dashboard to jump to any page, open a tool, or find a monitor by name. Start typing and the best match rises to the top.

Type a few letters and jump straight to a monitor, a page or a tool.

## What you can reach

- Pages : Monitors, Incidents, Status pages, Settings and the rest of the dashboard, by name.

- Monitors : type part of a name or address, and the matching monitors appear.

- Tools : every toolbox tool, such as SSL check, DNS lookup or ping, opens in one step.

Results are ranked as you type, so the best match is at the top and Enter opens it.

## Example

An alert mentions the certificate on playwright.dev . You press ⌘K, type ssl , and the palette shows your certificate monitors and the SSL tools together. Enter opens the top match, and the arrow keys take you to the free SSL check if you want a second opinion.

## Keys

- ⌘K on macOS, Ctrl K on Windows and Linux, or click Search or jump to… at the top of the dashboard.

- ↑ and ↓ move through results, Enter opens, Esc closes.
