# Cloning a monitor keeps disabled alert checks off

If you cloned a monitor and the copy raised an incident for a check you had switched off, for example an SFTP write test, that was our bug: cloning quietly turned disabled checks back on. Duplicating a monitor now keeps every alert check you had turned off on the original off on the copy as well.
