# WatchFor assistant (beta)

Setting up monitors and alert rules for the first time raises questions the docs do not always answer in the order you ask them. The in-app WatchFor assistant (beta) is a chatbot with guided flows that walks you through creating monitors and alerts. It is early, so tell us where it gets things wrong.
